(S2000 owners) Corvette C6 drive impressions?
I currently own a 350Z and S2000 - I've always been a Corvette fan and I'm tooling with the idea of selling both of my cars to get a C6. I haven't had a chance to test drive the car yet, but was wondering if any S2000 owners (who have driven the C6) could share their comparisons between the 2. Obviously, the vette has more power, etc., but is the fun factor as great in the C6?
I got a chance to drive a C5 and I wasn't expecting much, but the handling was not bad at all. The power was Besides the opinions of "Domestics suck ass! Never buy American crap"...... Would you upgrade to a C6 if you had the chance to?
Thanks,
Brian

i'd sell the Z for sure, if you can keep the S, i think you'd enjoy life more than ever. a V8 for daily drives and ass kicking, and an S2000 for sunny days and auto-x. not that the c6 couldn't auto-x, but i'd build it as a 11 second car if it were mine

My C6 vert was just completed today and I hope to have it within a week. I will post a write-up and lots of pics. Having owned my S2000 for 5-years, I should be able to make a good, if subjective, comparison.

I have driven a 98 c5 convert with the z51, an 04 z06, and an 05 coupe(automatic)...all three were fantastic, so much power compared to our s2k's...as much as they were great cars, having to drive them on a daily basis would be more of a hassle compared to the easy drive of the s2000..especially the 6 speed...the automatic could be a daily driver no problem...the only thing besides performance the c6 has over the s2000 is the comfort factor, much more room in a c6....the c6 i drove was fantastic...right now i would rather have the 04 z06, i would not pay for a c6 yet, wait another 5 month's...but if you want one kerbeck in Atlantic City is taking $4000 off the sticker...kerbeck

actually corvette would get better mileage on highway
it's rated at 28mpg, and s2000 is 25mpg

You can already get very large C6 discounts on the coupe so there is no reason to wait. The convertible is a much different story since those have been constrained and few have gone out. I doubt seriously you will see huge deals on the convertibles within the next months.
