i have an sti. its a nice car. not quite as fun as the s2k. reason i chose the sti over the evo, was frankly because it was rated higher as a consumer buy and more reliable. its a great daily driver, lots of torque for fast freeways runs to work.

I just trade my EV0 8 for may new 06s2k.I have the EVO for 3 years no problem with her. It was a very nice ride and very fast, now I have a 06 s2000 and now that I completed the brake inn period I am having fun with my car. I see a lot of potential with the S 2K . I wished i can have both but to many cars in the family....

If you can afford it, then great. I prefer a good DD and a cheap to maintain track slut. Spend your money on something other than two high performance daily drivers.

i have owned all 3, s2000 was the most fun to drive, i would pick the evo over the sti, too many reasons. i preferred the handling on the evo better than the sti. mod friendly, proven and reliable motor.
