An FD3S (RX-7 Twin Turbo) w/ an RX-8 motor and a supercharger... now THAT would be my car.
The RX-7 makes me nervous with all the failures (apex seals and such).

there is a device coming out that prevents detonation in all rotaries. Give it a month.

I'll have to check out what the story is with them when I'm finally in the position to buy one.. I want to keep the S2000 so I'll need to pay this thing off first to make it affordable.
Although it seems insane to have two "summer" cars and having to pick which one gets subjected to winter

thats a no brainer. S2000 summer, Rx-7 winter. Well that assumes that you dont have snow where you are.
top down for summer...during the winter you will be amazed how the cold intake and water temps make the -7- so freaking fun. The -7- is not much fun to drive on 100 degree days.

Oh no, plenty of snow and ice... this is Canada - The S2000 is fine in winter as it is, but it'd be better with a hardtop.
I'd drive the RX-7 year-round still, but I guess it'd be more of my "daily driver"
