S2000 to 91-93 24SX (RPS13)...should I?
Can't afford to have my S2000 and eat food in the same month, so I am forced to look at another car...
Thinking of getting either a 91-93 RPS13 240SX and swapping it for an SR20DET OR getting a 92-95 Civic hatch and swapping for a B18C1.
The cost of the cars is about the same (~$3000 or less). The cost of the mods I'm going to do to them is less for the Civic but I'd be worried that the Civic will get stolen every other week. Plus, I've never owned a FWD car.
I need a reliable car for daily driving and occassional track use. I have no concern whatsoever for comfort with the exception of working air conditioning (do civic DX HB's have that standard?).
So anyone want to help me weigh the good vs. the bad?

Well, if you can't afford the S2000, it is a good idea to trade down.
You won't lose much of what the S2000 had to offer by moving to an old-school 240SX - definitely not if you swap in a SR20DET. With the turbo mod, only minor suspension mods should put you on par (if not ahead of) the S2000, in terms of outright speed and handling prowess.
I say go for the Nissan, forget about the Civic.
