hell yea, buy it.....when the motor goes, you can always put a v8 in there....more reliable and alot of power, not to mention it even further enhances the 50/50 weight distribution.

Oh the positive side... you can buy a FD with a blown motor for really cheap (7k is possible) and fix it... eventually making money.
My brother has a nice one that he might sell. Red 93 FD with parallel turbo setup (stock turbos running parallel, not sequencial)... really clean with a pretty new motor... I dont think he's put 5k on it since he got it. its in South Carolina. He wants 16k for it.

I actually considered exactly what you are doing. Before buying the s2k, i looked at RX-7's. I really liked the ride, handling, power, look. After doing substantial research, I decided that the reliability issue was too much to ignore. Although it would not be my daily driver, i still took that into consideration. AS much as I still lust over that car, I know that it was the right decision to stay away from it..

The FD has been my dream car since before it was released in the US. I've had the financial means to purchase the car for quite a number of years now. After spending countless hours over several years on RX7club.com I also could not ignore the realiability issues this car has and will have no matter how much work is done to it. The car has everything else though...and would make a #1 garage queen.
