94rexsf, you make some good points.

A few things I would like to add as to not look like I was full of it.

$1000 CDN IS how much spare tire is.

Are your seats the leather onces? The cloth seats though are nice really are uncomforatable. NOT the driver seat that seat is awesome but the passenger seat is horrible.

I never flooded my engine, but only had the car for 2 months.

About the A/C, when it gets really humid and warm it's crap, really at first I didn't notice it, but after awhile it really began to bother me, it cycles on and off and doesn't get nearly cold enough because it blows cold then HOT air at you

5) Gas mileage is horrible, don't expect anything better than 13L/100Km, which translates to 300-400km a tank, 500km a tank on pure highway cruising. Not sure in mpg but it's low about 18mpg I think.

I stick to my guns on this one, I tried all gas types, I actually had best results with regular.
My gas mileage was Horrible even cruising on the highway

Still 20-22mpg is horrible if your cruising on the highway, come on the S2k gets 30mpg or more! I believe the 350z is close to that as 28mpg or something.

My gas bill tripled That wasn't my returning reason though.

Honestly I returned the car for a few reasons.

1. It didn't inspire me when driving it for everyday store hopping.

2. My door was creaking and the vibrating and the dealer couldn't fix it!

3. My dealer was retarded and the entire sales experience had me sour from the start.

4. Gas mileage was bad, liveable but BAD.

It was a nice car though, glad I had it, one of the few people that can say they did

I didn't realize thats canadian dollars, makes sense. I have leather seats and love them.

For me, this care REALLY inspires me. Even more than my 94 rx-7 believe it or not. The sound from the engine is amazing and its SOOO SMOOTH.

I expect to get 24/25 when cruising on the highway on a trip, I got that with my FD, so I should get the same with this.

I'm not doubting your gas mileage, there are many others that have the same problem. I'm just not one of them.

but yes, it will get worse gas milage than the s2000 in equal circumstances.

Well I didn't catch do you really need a back seat? The 350Z can be had for the same price as the RX-8.

I'd really go for a 330i or the EVO.

But from those two I'd get the G35 coupe.

I like the RX-8, but the engine is unproven.

G35 will have a much better resale in a few years. Already the Mazda dealerships are having a hard time getting rid of the cars, and the infiniti dealers dont have that many. The current demand will determine what the future resale will be, and now, people arent liking the RX-8 very much. I dont think it has the "class" of the G35. You are doubtfully going to track either of these cars, so in the day to day setting the torque of the G will be much more fun and enjoyable.

I'd take the G35 anyday. I don't like rotaries, the G35 is gorgeous, and it's nice to have the Infiniti cust. service benefits (loaner cars, etc.).

G35 more power but more room i don't think so.
We are talking G35 coupe here not sedan.
My friend owns a G35 Coupe and the back it rides rough.
If you have a lot of times where you really need 4 people to sit and feel good then get the RX8 and save
money on stuff that depreciates, if you got kids to feed.
Looking at this range 330I worth a look also.
