RX-7 vs 2000

I have no idea....
The car is still in the shop....The turbo I bought was a TO4e from the XS shop. The turbo is smaller than the other XS turbo TO4S or the Greddy T78 but it is more practical for what I desire. I want a car that will destroy a stock viper or Z06. A car that will get me low to mid 11 in the 1/4. The car is done but right now it is being tuned to HOPEFULLY reach the 400 rwhp mark

I test drove a used RX-7 a few months before buying the S2000. I don't know if it was modded, but it was a beast when you hit the accelerator. On the other hand, with the 2000 power builds steadily until VTEC kicks in and the car takes off. Handling and steering in the RX-7 feels like a over boosted 80's Buick compared to the S. The RX-7 turn-in is slower and it leans like a mini-van when compared to the quick steering and flat cornering of the S2000. BTW Honda parts are much less expensive than Mazda.
I love both cars, they are both beautiful works of art but, personally, I feel the S2000 is overwhelmingly better automobile.

Ok first this is not a FLAME.....
But either that RX-7 was a pre 1993 or it had a broken suspension or you were drunk when you drove it b/c there is no WAY this statement....
is accurate. Heck just look at the autocross champions before the Z06 came on the scene the RX-7 was the most dominant car EVER. A RX-7 lean like a mini-van????Again I am not saying what you said was a lie just not an accurate description of a TRUE 1993-1995 RX-7

Ok, ok, so maybe I exaggerated, after all I do own an S2000 However, I've seen a few auto-x's and the S2000 is much flatter around the turns that the RX-7's. Don't get me wrong, the RX-7 is in my top ten. It is a beautiful car and a beast to drive.

Both are great!
However, I must say I truly enjoy my 94 RX-7 with the Jap 3 Rotor with Large Single Trubo! (When It's not Broke!)

Thanks for the replies guys. Looks like this thread seems to have taken a turn for the worse. I didn't want a debate on which car is superior to the other, just an objective viewpoint of those who have owned both. Anyhow, I really can't give up the performance of the RX7, I'd rather own both I think, so we'll see what summer bonus does to me.
