I had a RSX-S stay with me side by side till 3rd gr about a month ago. It was modded but I all could hear was a exhaust and intake. Needless to say I was shocked and impressed.

Just recently acquired a 2005 DC5 Type S and I'm enjoying the piss out of it
Went up thru the foothills of NC with one of my friends in his 2004 S2K last sunday and I thought it held it's own pretty well
The damn K20 i-VTEC revs for days it seems Sounds mean too IMO... Almost as good as the AP1, almost

Yep exactly
Considering the Hondata reflash after the Holidays for her too... Read good things about this and how it changes the characteristics of the car/engine all for the better

I also had an 05 Type-S before my S2K, and it was a great car all around. If I could have affored to keep that as a daily driver and the S for my fun/weekend car I would have done it in a heartbeat.

my former rsx-s had a hks catback and injen sri and was dead even with s2k's and the local cocky GT mustang guys(stock of course) they run really well but when things start getting twisty an s2k will def. have the advantage and the GT will prob. be somewhere in the ditch!!

they run mid 14's from factory which isnt much slower than an s2000 and when you are talking about acceleration from a low roll they are even closer.
the biggest problem with the rsx is once you get it on a road course. honda really screwed the pooch on the rear suspension geometry. the camber changes drastically under minor bump. guys that road race them have to run ridiculously high rear spring rates to keep the suspension from deflecting. this in turn makes for a shitty contact patch on a course that is anything but totally smooth.
the problem is so bad that real time racing had to get special permission from the SCCA to allow them to run a custom rear suspension setup.
that alone kills the deal fro me. otherwise they are one of the best examples of a fwd car out there.
