Not sure about birds but I know for a fact that NFR attracts Law Enforcement.
Can't believe how many times I am hit with radar while traveling with other traffic!
They don't activate instant on until they get a visual lock on me!
I also believe the birds single red out more.

Well, it's significant to me. Sorry I don't own 17 cars and give a comparison.

That said, we've been in this office building four years. I park in the same spot every day. Another guy parks next to me every day... for four years. I can go look at his car, pretty sure he hasn't washed it in the same four years, I look over, no marks. I get zapped, eh, twice a week. My previous DD's were green, white & silver -- no problems.
