i think honda did the right thing in stopping producion of the S...it keeps the legacy and luster intact...it was a generation car and we were the lucky generation that got it...they knew they couldnt make it much better, so they ended it before they f@#ked it up

My personal fantasy was always a 6 cylinder version of the F20C engine.
3.0L displacement by grafting on 2 more cylinders, same bore and stroke in an inline 6.
Linear extrapolation would say ~360 HP and roughly 225 lb/ft in an inline 6 that could rev to 9,000 RPM.
My god would that be fun in a chassis like the S2000.
I know, I know, shoehorning it in behind the front axle, balance, yada yada yada. None of it is insurmountable.
Fuel efficiency would probably suck. So we throw in direct injection and a slightly taller rear end. Fixed.
Hey, I said it's my fantasy.

Honda could take all my money away for something like that.

Over and over, I still get compliments on the style of the 07 s2k. I went for an inspection and the guy confused this car for a BMW... It is all about performance, style and the looks from the people on 30A.d.
