Rides on TLC
last night I was watching TLC and they had this documentary on 310 Autosports and West Coast Customs (shaq's car store), they had their normal H2 conversions with dubss and what not, and at the end of the show, 310 Autosports had an ENZO
I was afraid of what horros they would do to it, but the owner only wanted new wheels for his milion dollar italian exotic, I was still like WTF?????? why??
but 310 sent the ENZO to Giovanni and made a custom 1 lug setup of silver wheels on one side and the same wheels design but in black on the other side, I wasn't with the two color thing, but the black whels on the red ENZO just made my heart fall, I almost died, it was soo awesome!!
did anyone else catch this show??
oh, they sent the ENZO to SEMA last year and displayed it
it was sooo choice

i didnt like the episode as much as the shelby cobra one i saw last week or the week before. this one was just about tricking out hummers and other uneccesarily large SUVs with tvs and ocmputers and suade and shit. i had to suffer through all that for a segment less than 10 minutes long on the enzo. they kept showing the silver 360 spyder throughout the show as if to say "look what we have" but didnt do anything with it.... just the stupid Hummers. oh well, that small bit of enzo magic made up for it. though... iduno why anyone would want to change the wheels on an enzo..... its a fxcking enzo...... its already rare as rare can be.

yeah...definitely one of my new favorite shows this season; while I'm not into customizing SUVs, the processes they went into for the H2 were interesting. Last week's episode on the mustang fastback was awesome; I missed the premiere episode though.

Did they actually make the wheels center locks? When they first brought it to Giovanni the guy was talking about getting the spline count and something rather so they could make it 5 lug. My jaw dropped when I heard that. When they first got it (I thought it was at WCC not 310) they talked like center lock was never done before. Get a clue, people give you tens of thousands to do it, jeez.
The impact gun tightening the lugs of the Hummer @ 310 was a nice touch too. Wonder if they do that on all the cars.
What a dream job to work these multi-millionaires' cars. They just want to be cool and they can and will pay anything you say for it.

you could just custom cut the one-lug wheels from a round metal slab. they have one of the machines to do that at UCSD, and i've seen em use it on American Chopper on discovery to make wheels. all it takes is a CAD file and $$$.

Caught this show on last night. Pretty cool show and definately one of the few shows that I try not to miss.
Anyways, I agree with what you guys are saying with the SUV's. Don't really see the point in dropping such a large amount of money just for some tv screens, satellite radio, etc..
The Enzo was really nice. I missed a bit of the end so I didn't see what kind of wheels were put on that thing. But it looked awesome!!
Don't know why anyone would want to change something on a 1 million dollar car though.
