I guess I will be the first to post on topic, lol, but there are no plans yet for a Toyota Supra. But I hope just as much as you do that they bring it back. I mean c'mon, let s look at what has happened in the past 2 years: Nissan brought back the Z and I'm pretty sure they will get a turbo soon. Mazda brought back the RX-Series in the RX-8, also to havve a Mazdaspeed package in the next 3 years or so for 2 turbos and 350 horsepower. Honda has the new S2000, though it really should be called the S2200. Mitsubishi just brought us the Lancer Evolution 8, with the new, uglier one coming in like a year and Subaru also answered with the Sti. Let's see, what does Toyota have in the RWD/AWD area?
NOTHING!!! The Lexus IS300 doesn't count cuase it's a Lexus, and soon they will be going global and Japan will have Lexus, which will be based on Toyota, but no longer a Toyota. So what did I say in all this writing? Bring back the DAMN SUPRA TOYOTA!!!

Although it's not confirmed, there are plans out there for the next gen supra. Whether it comes out or not is anyone's guess, but considering the life cycle of developing a car, this probably has been in the works for the past few years.

IS300 is Altezza in Japan or base model IS200 for Japanese and Euro market. IS300 do share the same platform as the MKIV which was one of reason I have consider purchasing the IS when it was first released. I planned on doing a MKIV twin turbo drop in the IS300. Making a street monster with 500+ hp. However, they never released the 6speed gear box due to the box never met the lexus interior noise spec. (I was disappointed and bought the s2k).
