It reminds me just a LITTLE of the...
Doesn't it look a little similar to the S2K?
Mazda's new RX-8. I think I like it. And the price is reasonable aswell. Might sway me away from buying an S2K in the near future.
If anybody has good pics of it, please post them up on here. And can somebody explain to me how they get 200+ horses out of a 1.3L motor. Also, what the shiznit is a rotary engine, (I know Mazda is famous for these engines in the higher-end 'sports' cars)?
This tail-end photo reminds me a lot of the S2K. Damn posers.
The four-door issue just doesn't sway with me. Sports cars should be two-doors...
How does this thing function?
Post better pics, if you have any, of the RX-8...
(BTW - For some S2K content, to keep the post on-topic, I found a 2000 GP White S2000, for $35,000 CAD, with only 40,000 KM, I believe... Is this a good price?)

Oh yes. And some photos of the interior. Pretty snazzy, and similar front seats as the S2K.
Interior shot.
Inviting steering wheel, and great gauges...
Close up of the instrument dials.
All this for between $30,000 - $35,000 USD. (GT model in Canada, about $39,990)
Mazda is slowly making nicer cars. Ever since the Protege5 was introduced, their cars have slowly come to grow on me. Two of my friends have P5's and for the money they paid for the cars, they take my '00 EK Civic Si hands down - beating it in interior styling, and standard options, for a lower end-price after taxes.

Car and Driver Television actually did a report on this, although it was biased (as C&D always is). But did anyone notice that the first car that they show in the C&D TV intro is a SPA S2k!! At least they did something right

it's not supposed to be a sports car. You think the makers of the RX7 and the miata (aka the reason you even get a choice of roadsters today) would try to pass off the rx8 as a sports car? Also, the rotary is a very simple motor. 3 moving parts, means less things that can go wrong in the engine.

Regarding the 2000 GP white, let it be known that white wasn't available in Canada during that model year..save for 3 that were brought in during that years F1 race, And I think one of those was trashed.
That being said, consider if you want an american car.
