Default Reality Of Grand Turismo 2

OK. I don't have PS because I only own like 4 games. Madden 97, 00, 01, 02, and Grand Turismo 2

Just bought a stock 99 s2000? Or was it a 2000? It had like 246HP which I thought was 240HP. The car ran a 15.1 at first and I got it down to 14.6 at the very best. That sounds a bit weird. The top speed was 170. Hmm Does that sound wrong?

My 1997 VR4 isn't stock in that game so I can't compare. I need to save up on the credits

Those times are only accurate if you're Car and Driver... S2000s can run somewhere in the high 13s with good driver. I believe most people can run low 14s quite easily. I think the top speed is closer to 150 mph.

The top speeds in all of the GT series are optimistic. Strange that they missed on something so easy to model.

Are the Japan S2000s any different than the US versions? that'd be my guess. Don't they have a Type-R there? I wonder what the hp is.

I believe it has something to do with Gran Turismo not being able to duplicate VTEC in a video game.

I could be wrong though.
