Default Rattle / noise from seat belt guide

I've noticed recently an irritating rattle / noice from the seat belt slot above my left shoulder (driver's side). I'm not exactly sure what the source is, as it's rather difficult to look over my shoulder and not drive off the road. However, when I remove the seat belt from the plastic guide attached to the seat, the noise stops.

I surmise that the noise is the seat belt rubbing against either the guide or the seat from the position it holds when it's inside the guide.

Has anyone else experienced this? And if so, is there a solution other than keeping the seatbelt out of the guide?

It's not "rattling."

It's the seat belt rubbing against your seat.

Everyone pretty much has it.

OK, if everyone has it, has anyone found a solution to eliminate or reduce it?
