Default A rare treat from the 60's

I went to a car show and had to share with this board today!

The owner was very friendly and really knew this car, feel free to PM me if you want any of the original photos.

13" Wheels

Engine Shots

Interior

Here is an interesting backstory to this photo.... the owner got to meet the Indiana governor (not that big of a deal to me, but...) and he also got to meet a Honda company executive about the car. I think it's the president of Honda... not sure... but here is a photo.

Anyways the car is a 1965 Honda S600 with the hard top, owner claimed he was the third owner and these cars are starting to get recognized and picking up the demand. I believe only 300 made it to the states for this year. He fully restored it and took it to the car show that day where I met him. Hope you guys enjoyed the pictures!

I still think it's cool how Honda has managed to include so much heritage in the S2000's design without making it "retro" at all. I mean look at that interior photo -- sure it's 40-year-old technology, but there are so many references in the S2000's interior and the overall layout is very similar.

With the exception of his actual glovebox.

Very nice pics and a gorgeous example of a classic. I think I like it better than the one Jay Leno had on his Garage show.
