This is a true modern day classic. I think it was specially built by some shop in California and sold through Mitsu dealers. I had the '93 hardtop Dodge version (Stealth), TT, AWD, 5sp, but only 300 hp. I would have loved one of these but at that time, they were selling for something like 60 grand new. Heavy as the anchor off a cruise ship though (~ 4000 #'s).

That was a the best Mitsu. that they ever built IMO. (only one I would have anyway) They had one here at the Mit. dealership about 5 years ago. Looked awsome. It was around 50K. also.

These are sweet. There was one in the area a few years back (Pre-S2000 ownership days) and I thought it was cool.

Those rims are ghetto fab, IMO!

3000GT Spyder was the first hardtop convertiable ever made... Even before the Benz hardtop... I remember the flipbook i had from the Chicago auto show the first year they had it... This was my favorite car before until i had my hands on a Honda when i got my drivers liscense in 2000... Nice car but $20,000 over coupe model isnt worth it IMO...

edit: Oh yeah, there is no room in the trunk when top is down, if i had that kinda money just laying around, i wouldnt mind fulfilling my childhood dream car...

You must be very young. Ford made a convertible hardtop back in the 50's I think (you have to be even older than me to remember exactly). It was a full size car with this huge retractable hardtop (factory) and had like dozens and dozens of servos.
