Maybe it's just me, but I think the EVO is actually pretty good looking, especially in person. Too bad 'ricers' messed it up for everyone by applying the style to their 120hp cars years before the manufacturers could bring over the real thing:

What's too bad about the EVO is that A. It's made by Mitsushitty and B. It's made by Mitsushitty.
Owners have been telling tales of Mitsu taking pictures of them while at the drag strip and denying warranty claims thereafter. Others have told tales of dealers claiming the Evo's have no warranty.
It's bad enough when you build a shitty product, but the final straw in my mind is when you refuse to fix it.
