The Best estimates I have heard is expect to pay about $1/mile of driving. Sound crazy, but you need to factor depreciation, tires, fluids, 15K service/30k service, gas, and the unplanned trips to the dealer.

Like Steve said, there is a HUGE difference between being able to afford a Ferrari, and owning one.

I think the 348 was mentioned because it's widely regarded as one of the poorest handling Ferrari's made.

Get an NSX, its no ferrari but daily driving is excellent and maintaince is like any other honda. Spend the extra savings on a supercharger or something.
