Ok now I know that a roll is bad. The dude now tells me he got some parts from Galpin Auto Sports and they are covered under warranty. IIRC, he has an intake of sorts, exhaust, some sort of piggyback ECU.
I think I will race him in the near future (read once I buy a S/C).

I think it would be a good even race, if you raced from 30mph. You'd be in VTEC in first and as long as you can shift quick and proper, I don't see why it would be a problem. I believe the older stangs have a 4sp or 5spd auto, so say from 30mph to 130mph, I'd give the edge to the S with the proper driver.
