If they don't want to race at a track, well, then they don't want to race that bad (depending on distance to the closest track). To be fair, it can get kind of expensive to race at a track just for a grudge, but far cheaper than the consequences of getting caught on the street doing it.
There's nothing to be gained being a smartass if you won't race on the street and they won't race on a track. But if you are stock, you are not in a position to call their car slow.

The times I've seen are between 13.6 and 14.0. Different cars/drivers/tracks/weather. Stock for stock it should be a pretty good race. No shame in taking it to the track. It's the smart thing to do.

btw.. now that you talked smack. you gotta race him
find a nice secluded road somewhere. besides even if his numbers are good in the magazine..doesnt matter if you beat him in person.

if you're being challenged, i doubt the person challenging you is gonna back down when you say "yeh well C&D got a 14.3@98 with an auto GT and MT got 13.8@102 with an S2000." just race....

The times I've seen for the auto are 13.5-14.0. These fall directly inline with the S2000 times (if not a bit faster). My guess is that you'll lose. I've never seen a mag record a 13.5 for the S2000. Also, the auto will be easier to launch and more consistent. So unless you hit the gears and launch just right you won't get under 14 seconds. good luck...
