Funny you should ask that. The owner said that he was trying to scare us with it's speed and the powersliding and cornering etc. We just hung on and enjoyed the ride. He said he was impressed because he usually scares people in it. I was simply loving it the whole time.

The recent evo review of the Ferrari Enzo referred to the McLaren F1 as "jewel like." I think this picture depicts that quite well:
