The GT gets 300 HP and the V6 gets 202 HP. Discuss.

The thing about retro reduxes is that they stimulate sales for a short period of time, and then the magic wears off. I'd rather see Ford take the Mustang to places it's not yet been, than to have them try to re-manufacture the late 1960's fastback concept. They might be expecting the magic of the Ford GT to rub off onto the stang but I fear it's going to be more like the latest T-bird.

this whole retro thing makes me sick. Doesn't anyone have an original idea anymore? Everything is a throw back to yesteryear when EVERYTHING was better. *sarcasm*
I'd rather see the mustang or any of these "timeless classics" move on and shed this idea that is alway has to pay tribute to the past etc.
I don't mind a nod to the past but the whole american car company retro kick is getting on my nerves. Bringing back all these old names like Impala and GTO and the like is lame and only an attempt to sell more cars at the expense of the original car's name. If these companies really respect these classica (which I do admire) they should let them remain classics and lay the name to rest for ever. But I know GM and Ford are having sluggish sales and will do anything to sell a few more cars.
