Premium Price for S2000?
#12
I didn't see any crazy markups on s2k's when I was shopping for mine. In fact I made my deal earlier this year for a little over invoice over the phone. Just called, asked for the internet sales person. Said I was ready to buy and wanted his best price for a no miles in stock car. The guy gave me the price. I called a few more dealers and his was the best deal so I accepted.
Never met him until after we made the deal. The only thing left when I showed up was to look over the car. The whole thing was friendly, quick and low pressure. Most dealers know that's the way it is these days.
Any dealer who doesn't understand how the internet has changed car buying probably will have 10 cars on his lot.

I didn't know if that was more inventory than usual or not. This dealer is about 40 miles north of Dallas. I didn't ask if they were actually trying to get the ADM or if they were just using it as a ploy to get closer to MSRP.
