I meant the ridiculous looking louvered fenders.
They're functional too.

So is Rosie O'Donnell's fat ass, but it doesn't make her look any better.

I seriously doubt louvered fenders have any measurable performance benefit. It's pure rice, and distateful at that.

I seriously doubt you have a clue what you're talking about. If there was no performance benefit they would not be using them on the race car. The body panels on the C6RS are nearly identical to the race car panels. What they do is let the air from the brake ducts that normally packs up in the wheel area escape to eliminate lift. I assure you if they do not make the car faster or handle better they would not be on the C6R. As far as them being unattractive to you, you are welcome to your opinion.

You can see the sun shining through the fender vents here showing they are not just for looks.

Good question. All I know is that the company only expects to sell 25 of them a year.

This car is like an American GT2 except for the fact that it's not made by Chevrolet. It seems comparable to a GT2 both in terms of performance and interior but is probably cheaper after mark-up and options.

The louvers are still uuuugly. I can't think of the last time I looked at my car and went "damn I wish my fenders looked more like a cheese grater".
