Just wanted to follow up with the released photos... I don't even see why Honda concepts mean anything...considering the production models DON'T ever come out looking as sharp.

Yeah, that looks pretty sharp. My only concern is that the Japanese only know how to build cars that are designed to be driven on the island of Japan. Once they touch our precious American soil, they are like a ticking time bomb, ready to self destruct.

If only they could make the Odyssey as reliable as the Dodge Caravan or Ford Windstar. They might be on to something.

(inside joke)

If the production models look anything like that, I thing Honda did an excellent job. I think it looks great also. I like it!

Nice way to try and take a great concept and dismiss it. The original Odyssey Concept looked very close to the final product. The recent Civic Si and Accord Coupe were very close as well. This one is near production-ready (the bodywork is virtually production ready with just a few minor details that won't make it). It's the big wheels and lowered stance that won't see production and those will definitely change the overall look of the van.

28 mpg highway in something that seats eight people? They'll sell a ton of 'em!

Hey now, I'm a LOVER of Honda and want nothing more than to see them with continued success! But I also think many of us would agree that Honda has really skewed the concept to production run on the Insight, Crosstour and CR-Z...so it's just that I'm hoping Honda doesn't do it again with the Odyssey (and future models).

The Odyssey represents a good portion of sales for Honda...especially considering how many Odysseys are currently out in people's driveways/carports...so they don't wanna mess with it too much considering Toyota's new Sienna is pretty impressive looking in production form:

I think it looks better than any of Honda's other cars/trucks/SUV's. If it can make it to production w/o getting butchered up, it s/b a hit.

i guess as long as the other manufacturers continue to produce even uglier vehicles than honda, than people will continue to buy hondas.

for example what was mercedes thinking when they created that monstrosity called the rl350, that thing is uglier than my fathers 1989 toyota van.
