Nothing unsafe about negotiating a turn in an enjoyable manner, he's in his lane and not necessarily speeding. Here's me sitting bolt upright with no technique or knee pucks on my first Palomar run:

While having that much fun should probably be illegal, I broke no traffic laws that morning.

Nobody said I wasn't being safe. Just because someone knee drags doesn't necessarily mean they are not being safe. I completely understand what you mean by issues being out of a riders control on the street, but there will always be that argument that the track is $$$ and the canyons are free. My first 5 years of riding, i rode through all the socal canyons (Palomar, GMR, Rockstore, ACH, Ortega bleh, etc) and once i was able to afford the track I rarely go to the canyons. I am now officially an Amateur MWGP racer, specific to Big Willow and Streets of Willow Springs. Maybe one day go WERA and AMA, but I still have much to learn ... espeically since i went from an R1 > R6 > duc 916 > R6 > ZX-10R... but only the R6 and ZX-10R have seen the Track. R6 only saw regular track days, but the ZX-10R has actually competed.

I completely understand where you're coming from to Judge right away about a noob on THIS forum, so i feel like i needed to give you the brief background of myself that i am far from one .

Here's my first time at Auto Club Speedway on my R6.

Very nice Kojak! I love Palomar, i stil have yet to explore the rest of that mountain lol. Nice leaning buddy, and loving the gear. As long as you're having fun that's all that matters. The more fun you have, the smoother you are. The smoother you are, the faster you will be.

I see beautiful places on the bike, but typically only have pics before or after the ride.

I think people need to stop assuming, i did not say a thing about speed. I have been riding since 2007, have over 150K miles cummulative. and have been on the track doing track days since 2010.

I was just saying things out of his control, dirt, gravel, soccer moms, animals, etc. most of that isnt present at a track. and juding by what he was wearing, he isnt some squid, and body positioning shows that he knows what he is doing.
