But those unions don't consider overdrawing on credit to buy a nicer car when times are tough to be a sign of your commitment to your work. That's the REAL difference.

Being the owner of a MY00 S2000, which were subject to their own seatbelt retractor recall (as well as a boot cover recall, and spark plug recall,) and which I consider to be not that big of a deal, I cannot but think that this Panamera recall is no big deal as well.

ps - having seen several Panameras in person my opinion is that it's rather good looking.

What major recall? Brakes don't work?

When I started reading this, I figured Porsche was ashamed of selling such an ugly ****** car.
I assume you've never seen on in person nor one on the road. They look fantastic in real life. It has great presence.

Seatbelt tensioner is nothing compared to a stuck throttle.

OP kinda overrreacted with the title...

I have seen the Panamera in person and am not a fan. Just My opinion though. The Cayenne(however spelt) is a nice SUV but I would rather have the VW version(Touareg) with the Twin Turbo V10-TDI

[QUOTE=NuncoStr8,Apr 28 2010, 01:26 PM] You do know they have unions outside the US, right?

I'm going to also say they look much better in person. I saw a cougar driving a white turbo and i would definitely drive it. Porsche just kinda needs to stop trying to make every single automobile resemble a 911

A few recalls are nothing, Porsche has come a very long way in the reliability department, I think their cars are basically as reliable as you can expect from that type of car. Design... the SUV and Panamera are just ugly, I don't care what they cost and how awesome they drive, but they are ugly, ugly.

I think the Panamera is ugly. I saw one on the highway last week. It looks awkward.
