Default Porsche Panamera caught on vid in Spain

Hey guys, I believe this is a pretty big scoop..

http://www.dumpert.nl/mediabase/2298...ecf/index.html

The new Porsche Panamera with little to no camo, out on the public roads!

I can't say that I like it though :S

Wow that thing is ugly. Fronts okay, but the side view is horrible.

great catch by somebody! looks very interesting... notice there were two in that video, including a CLS which they are using for benchmarking

the front looks SICK, the sides are a bit iffy, and the rear is ??? but ugly or beautiful I expect this to redefine the sports sedan class

I was going to give the Panamera the benefit of a doubt, given the poor video quality and the usual forgiveness for video/photos not doing a design justice, but that CLS in the adjacent lane looked good.

I would guess the CLS is exactly the competition they're aiming at, and maybe the Maserati, at least for now. There's no competitive BMW or A-M yet. I doubt they could match the sleek lines or the fantastic interior of the CLS, so they're going to have to go for the Porsche experience and mystique to top it. And maybe performance.

Yeah, BMW is going to follow Porsche with that concept we saw a few months back. As for AM, not sure if you can call the Rapid a competitor, IIRC they were talking about a MSRP around $200k which would be well out of the range of these.

Front looks great but the rear is horrible. What's up with the nasty wing and dinky trunk? It's like Quasimodo with that hump in the back.
