Ok so compare the CLS to this Porsche, what will be a better value or beat the other car around the streets?

The CLS is out a guy at work has one already. It's size (length) is between a E-class and a S-class.
About the porsche, just like the SUV sells well this probably will sell well. It will take on the M5/M6. Can't say Porsche doesn't know how to make cars or trucks. From most accounts the Cayenne is the best handling SUV and if they can do it with a sedan I'd be interested.

Just to make myself clear, I think this car is awful, and I'd never be seen in one,
BUT
with Porsche's affiliation with VW/Audi, I can see why they are interested in building cars like this. Both VW and Audi are both profitable car makers, so they must figure that more cars will invariably lead to more money. I'd say they are right in this case. Most people are interested in cool cars, regardless of credo. If it's definetly for real, they will make more money off it. There are not that many "die hard" Porsche fans out there when compared with the rest of the luxury car buying public.
I've seen a few CLS's around my area, and they are pretty sweet. The CLS 55 is one hot tamale! The thing just screams class.

I got to see a black CLS500 yesterday and it was beautiful in every angle, looks like it would be the perfect daily driver. BMW needs to take a look at MB's styling.

I think it's a great thing. For a while, my opinion is that Porsche's lineup should be the following:
Boxster and Boxster S - cheapest in the lineup, droptop, mid-engined, fun. 280 and 240 hp versions like today.
911 - Not the one we know today, but rather the Cayman. Get rid of the rear-engine concept altogether and go mid-engine. Use the current 911 engines - NA and turbo both. Offer it in coupe layout only. Rear wheel drive only as well. Include a GT3 version. Switch over the racing cars to this platform as well. And make engine access easy.
Panamera - Front engine (V8, both NA and turbo options), rear- and all-wheel drive options, heavy, luxurious, high-speed, four doors. A true GT.
Cayenne - good for towing the Boxster/911/Carrera GT to the track.
Carrera GT - best car ever.
