The sub 4 second 0-60 times are basically about traction. Most of the cars in that range have more power than traction so things like computer launch controls, AWD and fast shifting automatic boxes (dual clutch, transitional auto etc) make all the difference. However, I don't think most people would find a big difference in real world driving. It's kind of like looking at the 0-60 times of a WRX vs an F-body. The numbers say they are similar but driving them says they aren't. I suspect in real driving Porsche's 0-60 doesn't translate into much faster acceleration from a roll.
It's a neat car. I kind of like it and kind of think what's the point. Like so many modern Porsches I think it's more about excess than it is about being a good sports car/sedan. It may be a good sports car/sedan but all the extra fluff doesn't make it better.

It might be fast as hell but it is FUGLY as SHIET!
The only thing I see fuglier is the the new 5 Series GT!

Still can't out run ugly...
And nobody gives a crap what MPGs it gets. Seriously. As long as its got a big enough fuel tank so you aren't stopping for gas every other day nobody cares. It's a $150,000 car. Not some stupid bigger, heavier, and more expensive than a Fit "sporty hybrid" 2+2.
