I love how so many people who say "get a real Porsche" do not own a Porsche and have never owned one.
Hey, car snobs are typically people who care more about the car and the impession it makes than the actual driving. I've had folks put down the S2000 because it's "just a Honda". "Not a real Porsche" and "Just a Honda" work fine by me.
looks like a dog, sqatting, taking a dump...

It looks like from the side the head of the caiman which it was named after, with the slopes and long curves in the back. I just dont like the fog lights in the front from a design standpoint. It ruins an otherwise clean look. The driving dynamics should be really good, considering the boxter's influence, and the rigidity of a coupe.

I'm not a fan.
I don't like the odd ribs in the side vent. I think the rear diffuser looks terrible like some aborted ugly Veilside kit gone wrong and I think the foglight housing in the front looks like it comes off a Hyundai.
Not well done, IMO.

I find the front fog light housing and horizontal side vent ribs much more appealing and cleaner in the Boxster.
Boxster S weighs 2965 lb (before options); 3.2L engine w/ 280hp, does 0-60 in 5.2 per Porsche
Cayman S 3.4L engine w/ 295 hp, 0-60 in 5.1 per Porsche. Judging from 0-60 acceleration there's little weight difference between the two. I wonder if this is a de-tuned version of the 325 hp engine in the base Carrera...

That third pic (from the original poster) makes the roof line look too tall and pointy, i think. Take a good look at the profile view and see if you all agree with me.

0-60 in 5.something? for $60k isn't much bang for the buck these days. The 18" wheels, the body trim, the standard sound system, seems like they are catering to the urban sports car poseur... I thought the Cayman S was going to be more GT3-like than G35-like. Although I do like the hatch back storage.
I think I'd take an S2000 with hardtop over this thing. We all know that Honda could make a $40k sports coupe that would crush this thing into rubble, if they really wanted to.
