Default Porsche Cayman S official pictures

Hot off the press:

Press release

Official Cayman website

I LOVE it, but I still can't justify the price. I feel like I'm paying more to get rid of something I want (the convertible top).

CaymanS per the article: $58,900
Boxter S per porsche.com: $53,100

Of course, these are both starting figures and P cars can add some serious $$$ in options.

The size of the cockpit looks kind of out of proportion in that profile shot

I like it but if you want that styling and performance another option is the '99-'01 911 Carrera for $30-$45k.

Hmm, I don't know about the looks. Something about it screams "Not Porsche". I thought I'd like it more than I do.

If the average 911 had the gestation process of a frog, the Cayman S would be the tadpole stage.

Looks almost like an Audi TT morphed with one of those old Puma's. Doesn't do much for me.

Does nothing for me. I'd rather save up and get a 997 Carera S

Wow, I'm kinda surprised how lukewarm the response is to that car. I gotta say I think it's frickin' gorgeous. The 911 has slowly turned into a grand tourer -- this is a real Porsche in my mind.
