I looked at KBB and that seems like a good price. Is it a private seller or a dealer? If it's a dealer can they make it a CPO car that would keep it under warranty?
I drove the 04 turbo a few years back, was a blast. (IMO) overpriced at $125K (new) but time wacked $40K (plus option prices) off that.
I liked it a lot but with the AWD it seemed to be a little too planted (if that's a bad thing?) At the same time I drove a C5 Z06 new ($48K) that was as quick and (IMO) more exciting to drive since it was RWD and you could spin the tires at will.
I'd look at a new Vette or Cayman S or 911 (new) you can get for the same or less. That's more than a new Z06 which if you are into speed dominates the 04 911 turbo.

If you look for a bit I wouldn't be surprised if you could find one for $70-72k. Also, don't let anyone tell you the options are worth anything. The only option worth something is the X50. A 2004 that sold for $150k is worth the same as a 2004 that sold for $124k unless it has the X50 then it's worth a little more, but not much. Good luck.
edit: 85k might be good for CPO with extended warranty
double edit: I think my numbers are too low for an 04. 75-80 is more likely. so 85k pretty with CPO and extended warranty is a decent deal.

I see these cars with no miles on them, its funny. A guy in my neighborhood has one and almost everyday I see it parked in the driveway. I don't think he drives it more than 2 times a week.
People spend so much for a car to drive it 50 miles a week
It's not as if the turbo is hard to drive as a DD or on the HW like an Elise. My co-worker drove his almost every day ~40K miles in 3 years.
My next door neighbor has a Cobra replica and he drives ~200 miles a year. But I can see that since it's not good for anything like a real car.
The reason I would buy a 911 turbo would be b/c it's so easy and comfortable to drive and can drive it all year round. If I wanted only a week-end toy I'd buy something a lot more raw.

Ya. I don't get why someone would want to own such a thing only to watch it depreciate. Drive the damn car. But, sports cars make the best used cars cus there are far too many people who are willing to park 'em and watch 'em depreciate. I think 911 Turbos are overpriced new at around $130-140K. At around $80K with no miles, they seem more compelling, though I'm still not a huge fan of the 996. I'd get an '08 Boxster S or '09 M3 for around $65K, I think, and save $20K.
