I for one drive with the traffic, which is usually 5-10 over.
This is what I've observed throughout all my years of driving, but I guess it also depends on the regions.

I'm a homicide detective. I ain't got no time to care about your speeding. Patrolmen do that. If your family or friends are murdered, then it's my business, if within my jurisdiction.

Just looking for rough statistics on this site, compared to the general public.

Pimp job? Yeah, it may seem so dramatic and exciting on TV, but the reality is different. I've seen things that will make most of you vomit or faint. Luckily, I'm sort of "made" for this job, or that I'm used to it. Throughout high school and out of high school, I had always wanted to be a lawyer. I majored in law for a couple of years, then switched to criminology then loved it. From then on, I felt detective work was the only way for me, so I majored in criminology and psychology. This job is not for the faint of heart.

Back to topic, I can't believe almost 1/4 of you go more than 15 mph over the limits normally. That's excessive speeding! You need to change your habit or it will bite you in the ass sooner or later.

Maybe we need to change the dumbass laws to match people's driving.

You are?

After reading the shit you posted in this thread, its sounds like you're more like an ignorant infantile egomaniac running loose with a badge. You are a shameful embarrassment to your own profession with your abusive attitude.

Back on topic, I normally go 5 to 15 MPH over the speed limit. I'm more comfortable driving at 70 than at 55. Speeding laws should be changed and updated to correspond to the current performance level of new cars but than again speeding tickets and related violations are a major source of revenue so I doubt there will be any updates soon.

No worries for me when I get tickets, I have a friends in high places which equals 0 points.

My daily commute usually allows for me to go 85 on a 70. I still get people passing me at that speed sometimes...

What can I say? I was having fun with a bunch of kids. Am I a maniac running loose with a badge? If I was, I don't think the captain and chief would still allow me to have a badge. What I say on here is for fun, most of the times, and what I do in reality is real. I save and protect YOUR asses! Plain and simple! So I'd appreciate a bow down and "thank you!" for saving your families from murderers or catching murderers before they murder YOUR families. Well, to be honest, a lot of murderers are within your families anyway.
