Michigan State Police is what we use for hard data that we can't test for ourselves. I believe it is public, so you guys should be able to open it.

Here's what Alabama used in the 70's. I had the chance to test drive one of these and it was a nightmare over about 110mph.

Reverse rims were the hot thing back then. Yes those are for real and they were the rims that came on the car. If my memory is correct they're not as nice as they look. I believe those were painted steel wheels with chrome trim rings to set them off.

Over about 110mph those cars started to float really badly and much more than that got scary as hell. The Javelin was used in 71 and 72 in Alabama with the 401 cu in (6.6 L) AMC V8, 335 hp option.
