When is Ford going to re-do the Crown Vic. In Marauder form that car is one of the sweetest looking mass produced police cars out there. Not that it matters when were getting pulled over right?

This is blasphemy, right?
And I seriously never understood why this never became a cop car, it's like perfect for the job.

The Chargers are becoming popular because there's more than a decent chance they handle better than the Crown Vic and Impala. They also have 85 more horsepower out of the box than the Crown Vic (which if memory serves makes 260hp from the 4.6).
It might also be because people are less familiar with the headlights than they are with the Crown Vic's and Impala's. I can spot a CV a mile away at night just by the headlights. I can recognize Chargers too, but people are less likely to expect one as a Fuzzmobile.
