Looks alone, I like the Sky just a little more than the s2000, but when factoring in everything else, interiors, engines, transmissions, etc., the s2000 wins by a landslide.
Solstice isn't even on the ballot.

The Solstice, with it's grille, reminds me of an electric razor.
This isn't even a debate. As many have said, the S2000 body lines are timeless. It's simple, but sexy. And it will stay that way for years to come.

If the Solstice wins this argument on s2ki, I'm dropping my membership.
OP, you are really going to get biased answers here. Post this on a Solstice forum and they will pick the Pontiac.
Good luck with your results.

The Solstice and Sky look good but the car underneath screams Cavalier.
The first time I was at the Saturn dealer checking out a Sky when they first came out the salesman said guys were driving them and then buying them for their wives .
"underneath screams Cavalier"? In what way? Underneath screams Corvette given that both cars have very similar chassis with double A-arms at all 4 corners and a front engine, RWD layout. I guess you missed the part where the Cavalier was FWD.
Really, your dealer quote is crap given that you also said Honda invented double wishbone suspension in the 1980s for their F1 program. If you get facts like that wrong why would we assume you could overhear someone correctly.

FYI, the first double wishbone suspension was invented by Packard Motor Company.

neither, the ford pinto floats my boat.
seriously, there cars that somehow withstand the test of time and there are those that don't. A 1991 nsx looks as sexy today as it did back in 1991. A 1991 corvette looks dated. And in ten years time the s2000 will still look like the design could belong in that decade ten years later but that short stubby bloated little beast will only look sexy while it's young.

FWIW I've driven a Sky Redline quite a bit and it is fun to drive and has lots of power. These are the dealbreakers for me:
1. Horrible soft top design
2. Almost zero storage space
3. GM plastics and leather blow
