For your item #2, I did this:

[IMG] cool seats [IMG]

Not only did it escalate the interior quality, but it made the drive much more engaging. Hell, I think at least part of the poor steering feel is the general "floaty-ness" you get because the seats have pretty poor bolsters/support.
now that is win!

That's bullsht and you know it. The Suburban uses the long wheel base MG900 chassis. The Corvette's hydroformed chassis is a shortened version of the MG900-A chassis which is used for the Tahoe.
If you read 'All Tahoes are Black', Chief Engineer Dave Thomas (who incidentally owns a line of fast food restaurants), says that all the frames are actually derived from 1/24th scale parts that are hydroformed into the correct scale production parts. GM is the master of economy of scale.

WTF man? Is this place becoming a Corvette forum? For some reason you Corvette fans just can not realize that some people don't dig your plastic fantastic!
I think the number of Corvette threads simply indicates the significance of the model. You also see [here] a number of Porsche and BMW threads, again, significant cars in their own right.

I guess we could open up a bunch of threads about the Pontiac Aztec to balance things out...

So if I understand you correctly, GM takes a 1/24th scale chassis and inflates it using a reverse flux dynomometer to create a 1/2 scale Corvette chassis based on a 5/4ths scale Tahoe chassis that has been shipped to Kentucky.

Is the scaling created with an optical lens or Photoshop? I would suggest that with the power of modern stupidcomputers the older style optical methods are no longer credible.

This is the head engineer at GM in charge of shrinking and enlarging chassis.
