A close friend of mine recently bought an used NSX (sold his S2K). I drove it and I think the S2000 has a chance to hang with it (over 100 mph, it's a different story)

Whats even more amazing is that it was all done 12 years ago. Till this day when I see an NSX, it still makes me say "DAMN!" Looks so damn good....

You lucky, lucky man.
The NSX works its mojo on me for sure.
I sent for the 2002 brochure and in the form letter, Acura's North American promo dude extends an invitation for a test drive..
I think I'll just take him up on that!
It can't come close to your experience, but I'll take what I can get.

i use to own a s2000 and now a proud owner of a 99 nsx-t.. i can honestly say there is no way an s2000 can hang with an nsx when it comes to straight line acceleration. the nsx feels it has so much more low end power compared to the S. in actuality, when the vtec kicks in, i definitely dont get the feel like i did when i had the S. oh well, both are good cars, but i had to get something more rare.. too many S driving around in the bay area now, almost like a miata. i cant wait for another 2 years when i get the $ saved up to get my 911 turbo =-).

The torque of the NSX makes you think it is quicker than it actually is. The "top" end (above 100mph), the NSX is really a lot quicker than the S2K.
Ever drove a E36 M3? It feels that it is "a lot" quicker than the S2K too, but it really isnt.
BTW, sell part of your house (maybe the bathroom) and you can get the turbo now!!!!! You have such a nice house!
