Traded in my 2008 Coupe on a 2009 Z06. Got a deal I just could not refuse!!! Car stickered for 78k and I got it for 63k out the door. Dealer gave me strong money for my car too. It was their last 2009 Corvette and it just happened to be a Z06. They wanted to move the car in a big way. I also got them to throw in a ZR1 rear spoiler for free. That had to be ordered and I'll have to take the car back for them to install it.

The Z is amazing!!! My 08 Coupe had the Z51 package and was a lot of car for the money but the Z is so much better. I could feel the difference between the two cars immediately and I'm not talking about the power. The steering is much better with a more immediate reaction. The shifter is like night and day. My 08 used to get hung up on the 1st to 2nd shift when the car was cold and the shift feel could have been better. The Z has a shorter throw and it's much easier to find the right gear. The brakes are strong but tend to be a bit grabby at times. The Z does tend to follow irregularities in the road more than the 08 Coupe but I contribute that to the huge tires on the car.

Of course now that I got the car they are predicting 3 - 4 inches of snow!!! Might be a little while before I get to drive the car again.
