Update:
Went out looking at dealer and private Legends and RL's.
There were simply no Legends around that were not incredibly beaten down. I don't expect a car to be in great shape given 10 or more years of age, but every example I looked at was just too rough.
I drove a 97 RL at a dealer and walked away very unimpressed. The features were nice but Acura really missed the ball when it comes to the steering. Too light and quickly too heavy depending on speed, thin wheel.
Ended up with a 93 Lexus LS400, 104,000 miles. The car is exceptionally clean, no real noticable scratches or dents, clean interior, although it does have a couple switch issues and might have been a smokers car. Either way the car drives fantastic, and the 93's are supposadly the most reliable year (knock on wood).
Not bad for 9 cash.
