Unhappy People, educate me about oil.

Is it okay for me to mix 2 qts of full synthetic 10-30w and 3 qts of regular 5-30w (or 5-20w, I forgot) to use? It's not for my S2000, but for my boring Camry. I just have over 2 qts of synthetic 10-30w left and don't wanna throw it away since I won't be using it anytime soon.

Please answer my question, and if you have any other comments or informative things to say, please post! Thanks a lot!

In the past I have seen people say that it's ok to mix mineral oil and synthetic, which makes sense. I don't know if it's ok to mix weights, I would imagine in a car like the Camery it's just not going to make a big difference though.

You could probably run vegetable oil for a few thousand miles and get away with it

Mobil 1 can be mixed with regular oil - it actually says so on the package. They're just different length oil molecules. I think there are other synthetics that recommend you don't mix them with other oils, possibly because of large amounts of specialized additives.
