So not manufacturing? Are not the dealerships, since they're independently owned? If GM stops actually making the cars, is Penske SOL? I don't understand what exactly he's purchased, and how he'll make it work.

I think it's a little strange to buy a brand and everything associated with it, but to have no manufacturing process to actually provide you with your own product is rather stupid (IMO).

personally, I think it makes alot more sense for Magna to buy Saturn. It was my understanding that the initial agreement was Magna would buy both Opel and Saturn, allowing them to continue manufacturing Opels, rebadging them for Saturn and selling them thru the network here.
