Video of the year.

Interesting to see how much each car moves around on the track. The 918 is rock solid, the Ferrari moves around moderately and the P1 is all over the place (relatively speaking).

Would be interested to see lap times if each manufacturer put their own hotshoe in each car.

Also, gotta love that they put the cars on equal tires - they're really listening to the internet quarterbacks.

on the last point...sorta. I wish they had put trofeo Rs on the ferrari too. It could really use some more traction. The cup 2 tires are more in line with the trofeo R tires and not the normal corsa tire.

Agreed, this will be the best car video on Youtube in 2015. Just incredible and worth all of the 53 minutes it takes to watch it.

Forget the lap times, there wasn't a "losing" car here... only three interpretations on roughly the same amount of performance.

Haven't finished the entire video yet, but got through the opening part about tires. Why are they only mentioning the Ferrari and McLaren and not the Porsche when discussing the tire issue?

Ferrari is notorious for controlling every aspect of a test to make sure their car looks best. http://jalopnik.com/5760248/how-ferrari-spins

The tire they used is standard on the Porsche but not the Ferrari and 918, I believe. That's why they didn't mention they changed it on the Porsche (though they did put a new set on the Porsche).

They also said that the 918 "disappeared" when they put the Trofeo R tires on it - ie, it was the fastest of the lot with that tire.

They said that about the 918? I don't remember that. Seems weird they would post the p1s time on the R and not the 918 if it smoked it.
