The HG isn't bad, not much harder than the valve cover gasket really-all straight foward. Had to do that on a V8 Lexus before, not a barral full of monkeys.

So the car hasn't overheated in quite a few weeks even though I've been driving it regularly. I parked the car at home on Friday at about 3pm and left it for the weekend. Sunday night at about 5pm I went to check the coolant level.

To my surprise, the reservoir was full near the top. I took off the radiator cap and SLOOSH, coolant sprayed as air exited the system. I tried to add some coolant but it was topped.

How could there still be pressure in the system after 2 days of the car sitting?

Compression test came back fine, btw...even under extended time and load.
