Just seems that every post has "I find that hard to believe" or similar in it.

Well, since there are not SY Elise's in the US besides imports (very few), then it's hard to believe. At least I always post photos. There may be an Exige or two running around the US, but not many Elises.

Doubt it is my guess. He said he saw them parked side by side. No comment about the interior. Besides, what's wrong with this?

No cup holders or wood grain. Isn't that what passes for design stateside?

I feel your sarcasm has just lost your debate.

Man, you really are in a bad way.

How can I lose a debate I'm not involved in. I didn't say it was simple, just added to the discussion with pictures. Personally I have really loved the ELise since it came out and still do today. I'd go so far as to say it is minimalist, but never simple.

Whilst you're looking for a job, why don't you keep your eye out for a sense of humour too.

I have a great sense of humor, but your cup holder thing rubbed me the wrong way, since that's how most people perceive Americans. That we all want cushy creature comforts and because of us, the Elise was "softened up". It just sounded stereotypical towards Americans. If your intent wasn't such, then that's fine, I'll not take it that way.
