It's time to update the family mover, and the wife likes the new Nissan Quest ('04 and up). I'm not too excited about the styling, but I do like the Nissan 3.5L engine, and have heard good things about the reliability. Anyone here own one, or worked on one? Anything to look out for? Wanting to buy used, possibly something like this:

P.S. I prefer the Honda Odyssey, but the wife is really pushing for the Quest.

Why does she want a Quest? IMHO the ODDY>>>>>>Quest. Go check one out. The instrumentation is the middle IIRC.

BTW, MY wife drove a 04 seinna for 76k miles in 4 years.

I completely agree... I even like the Mazda5 better than the Quest, but the wife is really set on the Quest. She likes the funky styling... and it'll be her car. Just want to see what previous and current owners have to say, and anything to look for on a used one.

Are they? I have not heard or read anything like that? Everything I've read so far (as far as professional reviews) has been positive with the only big negatives being the funky styling and that the Quest isn't a Honda or a Toyota.

I remember hearing tons about quality issues on early model Quests. Dunno if it ever got fixed.

I'm looking for an '05 or '06... preferably '06 (comes with standard side curtain air bags)... hopefully that eliminates allot of the "early" quality issues.
