Default Opinion Needed for my next car

Hi guys, just registered and doing some research for my next ride. I have narrowed it down to a couple of options and need your opinions as to which one I should go for. Here are my choices:

1.) G35coupe
2.) 350Z
3.) S2000
4.) Wrx Sti
5.) RX-8
6.) something that would be comparable in price.

What are your opinions on these other cars. I'm looking for something fun to drive, looks good, as well as good performance. I have a beater/daily driver to tool around in so the new car is mostly for fun. Let me know your opinions on the S2000 and the other cars. Look forward to hearing your responses

I'd get the s2000, 350z, or G35 if u can supercharge or turbo it. STI performs well but it's ugly IMO. And RX-8 is ugly and slow.

This is my order:

Looks
1. s2k
2. g35
3. 350z
4. sti
5. RX-8

As far as performance goes, the numbers give proof there so dont need to go there.
If I had to do it again, I'd get an 03 cobra for that price, no contest.

If you already have a beater then go for one of the two seaters. Obviously those of us around here probably prefer the s2k.

haha i was considering many of those vehicles, here are some random thoughts cause i'm bored with free time on my hand

G35 coupe: nice that it's an infiniti with 4 yr warranty and better dealership service/experience (loaner car when you take your car in). VQ engine is nice, flat torque band but short on revs, nice handles, seats 4 . But realize it's not a sports car and will never have the feel of a open top sports car (fun-factor is missing). And if you plan to track....then G35 is prob the worst one here to do it with.

350Z: waaaaay to common for me. that really is the deal breaker for me. everyone and their moms (literally) has this car. honestly i'd prefer the G35 over the 350Z as the performance is pretty close with 350Z having much less utility.

S2000: fun fun fun! read about it at www.s2ki.com prob the only real sports car here.

STi: i'd have to do a spoiler delete . but if you want to go in a straight line with 4 of your friends then this is your car...

RX-8: a little short on power and i don't like the low MPG of the rotary and don't feel too comfortable with buying a rotary for reliability reasons.

depending on how fat you are i would go with an s2000, but i saw a saab 95 the other day dropped with those stock 5 spoke 18's or 19's and i was really impressed.

STi will attract lots of attention, most of it from potential thieves. Insurance rates on them are sky high in most areas.

Thanks for the opinions guys! I really appreciate your thoughts on this. All the above cars (well maybe not the rx-8) have something nice to offer but I can't combine them all into 1 all around super ride. That's why I'm having such a hard time deciding. How is the s2k around town? Please don't take offense to this, I have heard that it is kind of a "dog" around town and that you have to really keep it in vtec to go fast. Plz post your thoughts on this. Also, how is the S2k with mods? Is it cheap to mod or will I be looking to spend a fortune to super/turbo charge? I will definitely check out the rest of this site though, and thanks again for your opinions!
