semi-official:
Bad news - Lonestar is rained out I am sad to say.
Good news from TWS - Chris is the Venom 650ACR took 2 more first place overall finishes today. The rain was really bad but Chris did well and won the first session by about 17 seconds. We beat Davia's Porsche by 20 seconds (2.9 mile course) in the first session and 8 seconds in the second session (1.8 mile course). I think he is still having powertrain issues.
The 2008 Dodge Viper ACR with our Venom 650R upgrade has now won 5 out of 5 road race events for this year's One Lap.
Anyway, we gained 15 points in the leaders today. We will start tomorrows events at No Problem 115 points out of the lead. We have gained 70 points in the last few days. But we will need to keep running the table with first place finishes and just have to see how the other guys at the top do. It's going to be very hard if not impossible to come from behind to win this thing overall. But I always like the underdog and that is right where we are.
If you get a chance to go to one of the upcoming events, you should do so. Chris and Rob with the ACR would love to meet you. Likewise, Chrysler design VP Ralph Gilles (Super Soul) and Erich Heuschle (Kowalski) are great guys and have Ralph's 2008 Challenger in action now. Go say hi to these guys and cheer them on!

Is Nissan doing an experiment by running the GTR against all this modified cars?
Which other cars are bone stock? I think the ACR no?

Swan said the bridgestones on the GT-R are terrible in the wet. His exact words were, "very unhappy" when describing the cars handling on the wet surface at TWS. It's odd the car did well on the wet skid pad, but even then he didn't like the handling.
Viper probably can't win as you only get +5 points for each place you place above another car. They finished 42nd in the wet skid pad so they gotta make up 42 spots!

Nasty weather.

ACR should also be noted again to be running different(less sticky) tires then what comes on them in stock form.. I know I've said that before but since tires do make a massive difference I try to make sure it doesn't get overlooked.
I can't believe the GTM car isn't the one cleaning house.
